 What is a balanced diet?

 Before we make you aware of balanced diet and nutritional elements, what is the food before you?  What is its meaning and diet?  What is the meaning of diet?  Will consider these, sharing all these questions.  At a glance


1. Food

 "All the liquids or solids which the munush eats and is absorbed by its digestive system and used for various bodily functions, is called food."

 Like air and water, food is also a basic essential substance of human life.  Munsya is not only necessary for survival but also for physical growth and body growth and to live a healthy and active life.  Food is not only to be absorbed, digested and absorbed, but the true meaning of food is to give energy to the body.

2. Diet

 A human who eats food to get daily physical energy is called a diet {It is the daily in take of food to the human body for strength)


 The food is divided into the following parts based on its qualities and functions-


 1. What is the diet to protect the body - eg, protein, salts, vitamins, and minerals.

 2. There are diets that provide energy and heat to the body - eg, carbohydrates, fats.

 3. The diet that enhances the body. - eg, protein and mineral salts.


 Now we will know how to organize a balanced diet and nutrition-


By the way, we can call any food item as it satisfies the human body.  But is this the true meaning of food?  no.  The true meaning of food is food that is healthy for the human body and its development that inspires human life.

 Now we will know the meaning of balanced diet is this way - A balanced diet means that the food contains all the substances that can increase, grow and maintain the body and fulfill the daily energy.

 In other words - a diet that contains all the nutrients in the proper quantity and proportion and fulfills the daily requirements of the body is called a balanced diet.


 We can say that proper mixing of various substances is called balanced diet.  The incomparable diet is called when the following are completed:-


 ° Food should be germ-free and can be digested easily.

 ° All the nutrients in the food should be in proper quantity and proportion.


To understand balanced diet, we must have knowledge of the following definitions.  like-


 (i) In terms of thoughts, a balanced diet is one in which different elements of the food are in proper quantity according to the requirement of the person.

 (ii) The food that contains the necessary elements such as vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, proteins, minerals, and water in proper amounts is called a balanced diet.


 We know that not everyone can have a balanced diet according to the needs of each person, because their food content is different due to different circumstances and geographical conditions, so all the person's balanced diet  Cannot be the same. 

 The condition of a balanced diet depends on the occupation and employment of a person, depending on the condition of the person, how much element he can gather for a balanced diet.





 Nutritive components of diet

 We know that the components of the diet that provide energy and calories to the human body are called nutritional components of the diet.


 1. Carbohydrate

 2. Protein

 3. Fats

 4. Vitamins

 1. Carbohydrates

 Carbohydrates food is an essential and important element carbohydrates provide energy.


 Carbohydrates Acquisition

 Carbohydrates are obtained from a variety of cereals such as potatoes, honey, dates, sweet potatoes, goodies, sugar varieties, wheat, rice, millet, maize, sugarcane, and dried peas, sweet fruits, etc.


 2. Protein

 We can also call protein the basis of life.  Because this organism is the basic structure of cells.  Its presence is found in the same amount of protein after water.  Its source can be divided into two parts like-

 (a) Vegetable Protein

 Proteins derived from vegetation are called vegetable proteins such as peanuts, sesame seeds, mustard seeds, soyabean pulses and enzo.


 (b) Animal Protein

 Proteins produced from animals are called animalogenic proteins.  Such as meat, fish, milk, cheese, egg etc.


 3. Fats

 Fat is an essential part of our food which is made up of fat, carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Fat protects the soft parts of the body from being damaged.  We can divide it into two parts like-


 (a) Vegetable Sources

 They are obtained from vegetation, such as mustard oil, soybean, coconut, sesame etc. are oily fats.


 (b) Animal Sources

 Is fat derived from animals.  Such as fish oil, ghee, meat and butter egg etc.


 4. Vitamin

 Vitamin is essential for healthy life and development.  Lack of it causes many diseases.  Such as deficiency of vitamin "B" - berry berry, blindness in the eyes due to deficiency of vitamin A, etc. causes disease.


 Vitamin Sources

 Spinach, tomatoes, cabbage, papaya, oranges, carrots, vitamin "A" are found mainly in the liver and are obtained from milk, milk products and green vegetables etc.
